About TrainingHardcore

Our Mission

TrainingHardcore was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to help lifters and athletes everywhere make smarter training decisions, through no-nonsense guidance and free tools that make estimating your one-rep max, dialing in your macros, planning a training split, and tracking recovery clearer, more rewarding, and more practical.

We believe that everyone who trains or wants to start, from first-time lifters to seasoned competitors, deserves access to accurate tools, comprehensive resources, and trustworthy guidance. Our platform bridges the gap between conflicting gym advice and confident, well-informed decisions about strength and hypertrophy, HIIT and conditioning, nutrition and macros, recovery and mobility, powerlifting and bodybuilding, and training smart.

Through our free collection of tools, we help lifters make informed decisions about one-rep maxes, body composition, protein and macro targets, calories burned, heart-rate zones, training volume, and how long a muscle needs to recover. Every tool is designed with real-world applicability in mind, tested against the day-to-day realities of programming, lifting, and recovering, and continuously improved based on user feedback. To go deeper, explore our Muscles & Movement museum, with galleries on the major muscle groups and the compound lifts that build them, strength and hypertrophy, conditioning and nutrition, and the programming behind every great physique.

Our Story

TrainingHardcore emerged from a need we experienced firsthand. While trying to sort through conflicting advice and scattered references, we noticed a common challenge: the lack of accessible, accurate tools for the everyday decisions that come with programming a workout, running the numbers on your macros, and making the most of every session.

Getting strong relies heavily on consistency and a little know-how, which are invaluable. However, a confident lifter also benefits from clear answers about what their one-rep max really is, how many grams of protein to eat, how much volume they logged this week, what heart-rate zone they trained in, and how long a muscle group needs before its next hard session. We saw an opportunity to combine well-researched training knowledge with modern tools to help people make confident decisions about every rep.

Our team began developing tools that we wished existed when we started lifting. Each calculator and guide was created to solve real problems encountered when programming a split, dialing in a cut, or pushing for a new personal record. We tested every tool against real-world numbers, refined the logic based on feedback, and ensured that the results reflected current, widely accepted training and exercise-science practice.

Today, TrainingHardcore serves active users worldwide, from first-time lifters to lifelong strength enthusiasts. Our tools have helped people estimate one-rep maxes, analyze body composition, set macros, plan splits, track measurements, and benchmark their strength, and make more deliberate, confident training decisions.

Our Core Values

Our Expertise

TrainingHardcore’s tools and guides are developed and maintained by a team with extensive training experience across multiple areas:

Our team includes experienced lifters, coaches, writers, and reviewers who bring years of combined experience to tool development. We regularly consult industry references and trusted experts to ensure our content reflects current best practices. Our content is general fitness and educational information, NOT medical, nutritional, or professional training advice; results vary — consult a physician before starting any program, work with a qualified trainer, warm up, and use proper form. You train at your own risk.

Looking Forward

The future of training lies in the intelligent combination of consistency and proven know-how with modern tools and clear knowledge. At TrainingHardcore, we’re committed to staying at the forefront of this evolution.

Our development roadmap includes expanded tools for programming, macro planning, progress tracking, and strength benchmarking. We’re also working on multilingual support to serve the global community of lifters better, and developing specialized guidance for different goals, experience levels, and ways of training more deliberately.

Most importantly, we remain committed to keeping our tools free and accessible. As we grow, we’ll continue to prioritize user needs, ensuring that everyone has access to practical fitness tools regardless of their level.
